The situation is similar when it comes to accessing knowledge. While knowledge has been widely available, our means of accessing it have been highly inefficient. Now, knowledge is at our fingertips, tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Over the past three decades, we’ve increasingly relied on technology to store and manage information, effectively outsourcing parts of our memory because of the increasing amounts of information we deal with day-to-day. But we didn't have an interface to retrieve it efficiently. Now we have it.
Generative AI emerging now represents the next generation of interface to knowledge.Because of its ability to significantly decrease the amount of energy required to interact with knowledge, it will have a profound effect on the productivity of knowledge workers and their well-being.
What you need to consider
There will be a boom of solo entrepreneurs as the emergence and wide availability of generative AI, combined with no-code solutions, drastically decrease the barrier to building digital products. This makes it possible for individuals to handle the full cycle alone: from idea generation to building an MVP, and marketing to get the first users. This will transform the fabric of value creation itself.
